- Arise, Yahweh!
God, lift up your hand!
Don’t forget the helpless. - I will lift up my eyes to the hills.
Where does my help come from?
My help comes from Yahweh,
who made heaven and earth. - Let your eyes look straight ahead.
Fix your gaze directly before you. - But the tax collector, standing far away, wouldn’t even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’

Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil.
It will be health to your body,
and nourishment to your bones. - My son, attend to my words.
Turn your ear to my sayings.
Let them not depart from your eyes.
Keep them in the center of your heart. - Yahweh bless you, and keep you.
Yahweh make his face to shine on you,
and be gracious to you.
Yahweh lift up his face toward you,
and give you peace. - Wash yourselves. Make yourself clean.
Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes.
Cease to do evil. - Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
but Yahweh weighs the hearts. - Yahweh’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart.
Yahweh’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes. - Having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.

Save me in your loving kindness. - Hatred stirs up strife,
but love covers all wrongs. - When he had said these things, as they were looking, he was taken up, and a cloud received him out of their sight.

on those who hope in his loving kindness. - Wake up righteously and don’t sin, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
- He heals the broken in heart,
and binds up their wounds. - Turn back, and tell Hezekiah the prince of my people, ‘Yahweh, the God of David your father, says, “I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day, you will go up to Yahweh’s house.”’
- Keep your tongue from evil,
and your lips from speaking lies. - Teach me your way, Yahweh.
I will walk in your truth.
Make my heart undivided to fear your name. - I delight to do your will, my God.
Yes, your law is within my heart.
