- When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven.

and sustains the fatherless and the widow,
but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. - Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.
- The name of the righteous is used in blessings,
but the name of the wicked will rot. - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

The vine is dried up
and the fig tree is withered;
the pomegranate, the palm and the apple tree—
all the trees of the field—are dried up.
Surely the people’s joy
is withered away.So again I ask, does God give you his Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law, or by your believing what you heard? Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy, for you are receiving the end result of your faith, the salvation of your souls.Next verse!With image
