- For though we walk in the flesh, we are not waging war according to the flesh.
- Whoever keeps the commandment keeps his life;
he who despises his ways will die. - In peace I will both lie down and sleep;
for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.
- Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.
- And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.
- I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need.
- For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace.
- So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.
- Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
- For a day in your courts is better
than a thousand elsewhere.
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of wickedness. - I have chosen the way of faithfulness;
I set your rules before me. - Bear fruit in keeping with repentance.
- He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.” - One thing have I asked of the Lord,
that will I seek after:
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord
and to inquire in his temple. - Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
- For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.
- Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation. You shall do no work. It is a Sabbath to the Lord in all your dwelling places.
- Therefore you shall keep his statutes and his commandments, which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time.
- But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
- Strive for peace with everyone, and for the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
- Teach me your way, O Lord,
that I may walk in your truth;
unite my heart to fear your name. - For thus says the One who is high and lifted up,
who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
“I dwell in the high and holy place,
and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit,
to revive the spirit of the lowly,
and to revive the heart of the contrite.” - And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory! Selah For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.Next verse!With image
