- For I know that my Redeemer lives,
and that at the last he will stand upon the earth. - We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another.
- Consequently he is able for all time to save those who approach God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
- The Lord loves those who hate evil;
he guards the lives of his faithful;
he rescues them from the hand of the wicked. - And it is no longer I who live, but it is Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
- Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Those who believe in me, even though they die, will live, and everyone who lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?”
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God lives in us, and his love is perfected in us.
- Those who guard their mouths preserve their lives;
those who open wide their lips come to ruin. - Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you; and just as I gave you the green plants, I give you everything. Only, you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.
- For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all, training us to renounce impiety and worldly passions, and in the present age to live lives that are self-controlled, upright, and godly.
- Keep your lives free from the love of money, and be content with what you have; for he has said, “I will never leave you or forsake you.”
- All who obey his commandments abide in him, and he abides in them. And by this we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit that he has given us.
- So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. - He humbled you by letting you hunger, then by feeding you with manna, with which neither you nor your ancestors were acquainted, in order to make you understand that one does not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
- You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.
- Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?
- But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God.
- Those who eat my flesh and drink my blood abide in me, and I in them.
- Even though you intended to do harm to me, God intended it for good, in order to preserve a numerous people, as he is doing today.
- And the world and its desire are passing away, but those who do the will of God live forever.
- God abides in those who confess that Jesus is the Son of God, and they abide in God.
- The end of all things is near; therefore be serious and discipline yourselves for the sake of your prayers.

he is a shield to those who walk blamelessly. - For thus says the high and lofty one
who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy:
I dwell in the high and holy place,
and also with those who are contrite and humble in spirit,
to revive the spirit of the humble,
and to revive the heart of the contrite. - The Lord redeems the life of his servants;
none of those who take refuge in him will be condemned.

The Lord of hosts,
he is the King of glory. Selah
