- Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things:

so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. - For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
- But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
- Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost.
- O give thanks unto the Lord; call upon his name:
make known his deeds among the people.
Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped, And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled.
