Chinese (traditional)- Let your love be sincere. Loathe what is evil and hold fast to what is good.
- Love is patient;
love is charitable.
Love is not envious;
it does not have an inflated opinion of itself;
it is not filled with its own importance.
Love is never rude;
it does not seek its own advantage.
It is not prone to anger;
neither does it brood over setbacks. - Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- Keep in mind, therefore, that the Lord, your God, is God. He is a faithful God who keeps his covenant of mercy to the thousandth generation toward those who love him and observe his commandments.
- But as for you, man of God, you must shun all this. Rather, pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, fortitude, and gentleness.
- No one can have greater love
than to lay down his life for his friends. - Those who love your law have great peace;
they encounter no stumbling blocks. - And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a sacrificial offering whose fragrance is pleasing to God.
- God’s love was revealed to us in this way:
God sent his only-begotten Son into the world
so that we might have life through him. - You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.
- Hear, O Israel, the Lord, our God, is Lord alone. You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.
- Dear children,
let us love not in word or speech
but in deed and truth. - May the Lord cause your love to increase and overflow for one another and for everyone else, just as our love does for you.
- This is how everyone will know
that you are my disciples:
if you love one another. - You are all-beautiful, my love,
without the slightest blemish. - Love one another with genuine affection. Esteem others more highly than yourself.
- I reprove and discipline all those whom I love. Therefore, be sincere in your desire to repent.
- Over all these put on love, which is the bond of perfection.
- If anyone is rich in worldly possessions
and sees a brother in need
but refuses to open his heart,
how can the love of God abide in him? - But I say to you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.
- For from the beginning
you have heard the message
that we should love one another. - With all humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another in a spirit of love.
- Such hope will not be doomed to disappointment, because the love of God has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
- He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.”
For as it is written,
“Eye has not seen, ear has not heard,
nor has the human heart imagined
what God has prepared for those who love him.”With all humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another in a spirit of love. Rejoice always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.Next verse!With image
