- Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and for which you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
- But when Jesus heard this, He responded to him, “Do not be afraid any longer; only believe, and she will be made well.”
- But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our wrongdoings, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
- On the day of prosperity be happy,
But on the day of adversity consider:
God has made the one as well as the other
So that a person will not discover anything that will come after him. - And He answered and said, “Have you not read that He who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two, but one flesh. Therefore, what God has joined together, no person is to separate.”
- You have also given me the shield of Your salvation,
And Your right hand upholds me;
And Your gentleness makes me great.
You enlarge my steps under me,
And my feet have not slipped. - These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.
- No one has seen God at any time; God the only Son, who is in the arms of the Father, He has explained Him.
- Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.
- Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. For six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of the Lord your God; on it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male slave or your female slave, or your cattle, or your resident who stays with you. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and everything that is in them, and He rested on the seventh day; for that reason the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
- This also comes from the Lord of armies,
Who has made His counsel wonderful and His wisdom great. - For no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God.
- Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
- The Lord God is my strength,
And He has made my feet like deer’s feet,
And has me walk on my high places. - And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.
- For so the Lord has commanded us,
‘I have appointed You as a light to the Gentiles,
That You may bring salvation to the end of the earth.’ - But from the beginning of creation, God created them male and female. Therefore, what God has joined together, no person is to separate.
- For with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
- For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over every ruler and authority.
- Because I saved the poor who cried for help,
And the orphan who had no helper.
The blessing of the one who was about to perish came upon me,
And I made the widow’s heart sing for joy. - I hurried and did not delay
To keep Your commandments. - You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has become tasteless, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot by people.
- A generous person will be prosperous,
And one who gives others plenty of water will himself be given plenty. - There is no fear in love, but perfect love drives out fear, because fear involves punishment, and the one who fears is not perfected in love.
- And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
