Hatred stirs up strife, but love overlooks all offenses.Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth all sins.
Righteousness is a sign of a nation’s greatness, but sin degrades any people.Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people.
A cheerful heart is excellent medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Everyone who sins breaks the law, for sin is lawlessness.Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
