The man said,
“This one is bone of my bones
and flesh of my flesh.
She shall be called woman
because she was taken from man.”
This is why a man leaves his father and his mother and joins with a wife, and the two become one flesh. - For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.

Christ Jesus, himself a man. - All day long the godless man continues to covet,
whereas the righteous man gives unsparingly. - Once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.
- However, to avoid the temptation to immorality, each man should have his own wife and each woman her own husband.
- For this reason
a man shall leave his father and mother
and be joined to his wife,
and the two shall become one flesh. - How can a young man lead a spotless life?
By living according to your word. - However, the gift is not like the transgression. For if the transgression of one man led to the death of the many, how much greater was the overflowing effect of the grace of God and the gift of the one man Jesus Christ that has abounded for the many.
- Therefore, now I, Nebuchadnezzar,
praise and exalt and glorify
the King of heaven.
For all of his works are right,
and all of his ways are just.
Also, he is able to humble
all those who follow the path of pride.
