- He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.
- The words of a wise man’s mouth are gracious,
But the lips of a fool shall swallow him up. - And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness:
God was manifested in the flesh,
Justified in the Spirit,
Seen by angels,
Preached among the Gentiles,
Believed on in the world,
Received up in glory. - In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven. - Blessed are you when men hate you,
And when they exclude you,
And revile you, and cast out your name as evil,
For the Son of Man’s sake. - Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
- But many who are first will be last, and the last first.
- For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
- For as many as have sinned without law will also perish without law, and as many as have sinned in the law will be judged by the law.
- For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
- So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.
- Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
- Happy is the man who finds wisdom,
And the man who gains understanding. - For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.
- What is desired in a man is kindness,
And a poor man is better than a liar. - And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.
- In like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, but, which is proper for women professing godliness, with good works.
- So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
- For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead.
- For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body.
- As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.
- Hear, my son, and receive my sayings,
And the years of your life will be many. - For as we have many members in one body, but all the members do not have the same function, so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and individually members of one another.
- Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
But the Lord delivers him out of them all. - For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God.
And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of hosts,
He is the King of glory. Selah When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.Next verse! With image
