- He that covereth a transgression seeketh love;
but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends. - Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
- A talebearer revealeth secrets:
but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter. - He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good:
and whoso trusteth in the Lord, happy is he. - To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.
- I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers,
who hast given me wisdom and might,
and hast made known unto me now what we desired of thee:
for thou hast now made known unto us the king's matter. - So we fasted and besought our God for this: and he was intreated of us.
- Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom:
and with all thy getting get understanding. - Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
- Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
- Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest doest the same things.
- And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these things, that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that thing.
- Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
- But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference.
- For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.
- His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
- Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
Ah Lord God! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee. And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.Next verse!With image
