- One who conceals an offense seeks love,
But one who repeats a matter separates close friends. - There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every matter under heaven.
- One who goes about as a slanderer reveals secrets,
But one who is trustworthy conceals a matter. - The conclusion, when everything has been heard, is: fear God and keep His commandments, because this applies to every person.
- So we fasted and sought our God concerning this matter, and He listened to our pleading.
- To You, God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise,
For You have given me wisdom and power;
Even now You have made known to me what we requested of You,
For You have made known to us the king’s matter. - One who pays attention to the word will find good,
And blessed is one who trusts in the Lord. - Therefore you have no excuse, you foolish person, everyone of you who passes judgment; for in that matter in which you judge someone else, you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things.
- The beginning of wisdom is: Acquire wisdom;
And with all your possessions, acquire understanding. - Now if your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have gained your brother.
- “Come now, and let us debate your case,”
Says the Lord,
“Though your sins are as scarlet,
They shall become as white as snow;
Though they are red like crimson,
They shall be like wool.” - So it shall be when he becomes guilty of one of these things, that he shall confess that in which he has sinned.
- Now accept the one who is weak in faith, but not to have quarrels over opinions.
- But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, but it is the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe; for there is no distinction.
- For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything, but faith working through love.
- His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter the joy of your master.’
- Therefore, no one is to act as your judge in regard to food and drink, or in respect to a festival or a new moon, or a Sabbath day— things which are only a shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.
It shall be a tassel for you to look at and remember all the commandments of the Lord, so that you will do them and not follow your own heart and your own eyes, which led you to prostitute yourselves. And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for the one who comes to God must believe that He exists, and that He proves to be One who rewards those who seek Him.Next verse!With image
