- You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. - In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I shall not be afraid.
What can flesh do to me? - Keep steady my steps according to your promise,
and let no iniquity get dominion over me. - Jesus then said, “I will be with you a little longer, and then I am going to him who sent me.”
- You shall not make gods of silver to be with me, nor shall you make for yourselves gods of gold.
- But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
- So we can confidently say,
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear;
what can man do to me?” - “Yet even now,” declares the Lord,
“return to me with all your heart,
with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” - I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.
- If you had known me, you would have known my Father also. From now on you do know him and have seen him.
- Deep calls to deep
at the roar of your waterfalls;
all your breakers and your waves
have gone over me. - If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.
- Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.
- Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
- But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
- Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.
- Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’
- By day the Lord commands his steadfast love,
and at night his song is with me,
a prayer to the God of my life. - Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name! - But when they had grazed, they became full,
they were filled, and their heart was lifted up;
therefore they forgot me. - God, the Lord, is my strength;
he makes my feet like the deer's;
he makes me tread on my high places. - Jesus said to him, “Have you believed because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.”
- The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me;
your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever.
Do not forsake the work of your hands. - I have set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be a sign of the covenant between me and the earth.
- And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”
Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.
