Chinese (traditional)- For we are not struggling against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, the powers, and the cosmic rulers of this present darkness, and against the spirits of evil in the heavens.
- Beloved,
let us love one another,
because love is from God.
Everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. - To him who in all things is able
through the power
that is at work within us
to accomplish abundantly far more
than all we can ask or imagine,
to him be glory in the Church
and in Christ Jesus
through all generations,
forever and ever. Amen. - In the beginning was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. - He is the reflection of God’s glory
and the perfect expression of his very being,
sustaining all things by his powerful word.
Achieving purification from sins,
he took his seat at the right hand of the Majesty on high. - For nothing will be impossible for God.
- For there is one God,
and there is one mediator between God and man,
Christ Jesus, himself a man. - In God, whose word I praise,
in God I place my trust and know no fear;
what can people do to me? - But as for me, I will look to the Lord.
I place my hope in God my savior;
my God will hear me. - Protect me, O God,
for in you I take refuge. - My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit;
a contrite and humble heart, O God,
you will not spurn. - No one has ever seen God,
but if we love one another,
God abides in us,
and his love is made complete in us. - If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple.
- Jesus looked at them and said, “For men it is impossible, but not for God. For God all things are possible.”
- Blessed are the pure of heart, for they will see God.
- God created mankind in his image, in the image of God he created them, male and female he created them.
- God gave the midwives numerous families because they had feared God.
- God said, “Let there be light!” And there was light.
- No one has ever seen God.
It is the only Son, God,
who is at the Father’s side,
who has made him known. - Our God is in heaven;
he does whatever he pleases. - I am the Lord, your God,
who brought you out of the land of Egypt.
You know no God but me,
nor any savior other than me. - Keep in mind, therefore, that the Lord, your God, is God. He is a faithful God who keeps his covenant of mercy to the thousandth generation toward those who love him and observe his commandments.
- Those who live according to the flesh can never be pleasing to God.
- While experiencing temptation, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one.
- Hence, be imitators of God, as beloved children.
However, God has revealed these things to us through the Spirit. For the Spirit explores everything, even the depths of God.A man may plan his own course,
but the Lord makes his steps secure. I have given you a command. Be strong and brave, do not be afraid nor dismayed. I, the Lord, your God, will be with you wherever you go.Next verse!With image
