Bible Verses about 'Mortals'

With the Lord on my side I do not fear. What can mortals do to me?The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?
It is better to take refuge in the Lord than to put confidence in mortals. It is better to trust in the Lord Than to put confidence in man.
He replied, “What is impossible for mortals is possible for God.”But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”
What are human beings that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them? What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?
But Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but not for God; for God all things are possible.”But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”
There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among mortals by which we must be saved.Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal.Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I am not afraid; what can flesh do to me?In God (I will praise His word), In God I have put my trust; I will not fear. What can flesh do to me?
In the day of prosperity be joyful, and in the day of adversity consider; God has made the one as well as the other, so that mortals may not find out anything that will come after them.In the day of prosperity be joyful, But in the day of adversity consider: Surely God has appointed the one as well as the other, So that man can find out nothing that will come after him.
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him; for the Lord does not see as mortals see; they look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look at his appearance or at his physical stature, because I have refused him. For the Lord does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “See, the home of God is among mortals. He will dwell with them as their God; they will be his peoples, and God himself will be with them; he will wipe every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.”And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”
I, I am he who comforts you; why then are you afraid of a mere mortal who must die, a human being who fades like grass?I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you should be afraid Of a man who will die, And of the son of a man who will be made like grass?
