- May my teaching drop as the rain,
my speech distill as the dew,
like gentle rain upon the tender grass,
and like showers upon the herb. - If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
- The one who conquers, I will grant him to sit with me on my throne, as I also conquered and sat down with my Father on his throne.
- For you formed my inward parts;
you knitted me together in my mother's womb.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
Wonderful are your works;
my soul knows it very well. - But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
- You are altogether beautiful, my love;
there is no flaw in you. - This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.
- Search me, O God, and know my heart!
Try me and know my thoughts!
And see if there be any grievous way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting! - So you shall keep my commandments and do them: I am the Lord.
- Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.
- Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him.”
- As a deer pants for flowing streams,
so pants my soul for you, O God. - Incline my heart to your testimonies,
and not to selfish gain! - I love the Lord, because he has heard
my voice and my pleas for mercy.
Because he inclined his ear to me,
therefore I will call on him as long as I live. - I sought the Lord, and he answered me
and delivered me from all my fears. - Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.
So I will bless you as long as I live;
in your name I will lift up my hands. - You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- I will extol you, my God and King,
and bless your name forever and ever. - I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.
- When I thought, “My foot slips,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. - Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.
- My mouth is filled with your praise,
and with your glory all the day. - I have made a covenant with my eyes;
how then could I gaze at a virgin? - For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.
- So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him, “If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
And he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen; he is not here. See the place where they laid him.” Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.Next verse!With image
