For when I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long.When I refused to confess my sin, my body wasted away, and I groaned all day long.
Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.But God is my helper. The Lord keeps me alive!
But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.But you, O Lord, are a shield around me; you are my glory, the one who holds my head high.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “therefore I will hope in him.”I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!”
Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again— my Savior and my God!
When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer.
By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father.
For you are my rock and my fortress; and for your name's sake you lead me and guide me.You are my rock and my fortress. For the honor of your name, lead me out of this danger.
My times are in your hand; rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors!My future is in your hands. Rescue me from those who hunt me down relentlessly.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.”
I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth!
Hear, my son, and accept my words, that the years of your life may be many.My child, listen to me and do as I say, and you will have a long, good life.
Your testimonies are my heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.Your laws are my treasure; they are my heart’s delight.
If you love me, you will keep my commandments.If you love me, obey my commandments.
I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. SelahI lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain.
God, the Lord, is my strength; he makes my feet like the deer's; he makes me tread on my high places.The Sovereign Lord is my strength! He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights.
But as for me, I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.As for me, I look to the Lord for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me.
O God, you are my God; earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you; my flesh faints for you, as in a dry and weary land where there is no water.O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water.
My son, do not forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments, for length of days and years of life and peace they will add to you.My child, never forget the things I have taught you. Store my commands in your heart. If you do this, you will live many years, and your life will be satisfying.
My son, be attentive to my words; incline your ear to my sayings. Let them not escape from your sight; keep them within your heart.My child, pay attention to what I say. Listen carefully to my words. Don’t lose sight of them. Let them penetrate deep into your heart.
Hear my prayer, O Lord; give ear to my pleas for mercy! In your faithfulness answer me, in your righteousness!Hear my prayer, O Lord; listen to my plea! Answer me because you are faithful and righteous.
Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father; but go to my brothers and say to them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”“Don’t cling to me,” Jesus said, “for I haven’t yet ascended to the Father. But go find my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
My lips will shout for joy, when I sing praises to you; my soul also, which you have redeemed.I will shout for joy and sing your praises, for you have ransomed me.
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”Those who live in the shelter of the Most High will find rest in the shadow of the Almighty. This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him.
I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”I said to the Lord, “You are my Master! Every good thing I have comes from you.”

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.
