- And on that day you will say,
“Give thanks to the Lord, call on His name.
Make known His deeds among the peoples;
Make them remember that His name is exalted.” - I will exalt You, my God, the King,
And I will bless Your name forever and ever. - Not to us, Lord, not to us,
But to Your name give glory,
Because of Your mercy, because of Your truth. - For You are my rock and my fortress;
For the sake of Your name You will lead me and guide me. - I will rejoice and be jubilant in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. - All the prophets testify of Him, that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins.
- Indeed, while following the way of Your judgments, Lord,
We have waited for You eagerly;
Your name, and remembering You, is the desire of our souls. - And whatever you ask in My name, this I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
- And the Lord will be King over all the earth; on that day the Lord will be the only one, and His name the only one.
- But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
- For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.
- Give thanks to the Lord, call upon His name;
Make His deeds known among the peoples. - And those who know Your name will put their trust in You,
For You, Lord, have not abandoned those who seek You. - She will give birth to a Son; and you shall name Him Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.
- Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.
- Teach me Your way, Lord;
I will walk in Your truth;
Unite my heart to fear Your name. - But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings; and you will go forth and frolic like calves from the stall.
- A good name is to be more desired than great wealth;
Favor is better than silver and gold. - And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved.
- Blessed are you when the people hate you, and when they exclude you, and insult you, and scorn your name as evil, on account of the Son of Man.
- But the Helper, the Holy Spirit whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and remind you of all that I said to you.
- The One who builds His upper chambers in the heavens
And has founded His vaulted dome over the earth,
He who calls for the waters of the sea
And pours them out on the face of the earth,
The Lord is His name. - You did not choose Me but I chose you, and appointed you that you would go and bear fruit, and that your fruit would remain, so that whatever you ask of the Father in My name He may give to you.
- Pray, then, in this way:
‘Our Father, who is in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.’ - Lord, You are my God;
I will exalt You, I will give thanks to Your name;
For You have worked wonders,
Plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness.
