- Those who revere your name place their trust in you,
for you never abandon those who seek you, O Lord. - Jesus replied,
“This is the work of God:
to believe in the one whom he has sent.” - Until now, in my name,
you have not asked for anything.
Ask and you will receive,
so that your joy may be complete. - He builds his upper chambers in the heavens
and establishes his vault of the sky over the earth—
the Lord is his name. - But for you who fear my name
the sun of justice will arise
with its healing rays.
You will emerge leaping
like calves released from the stall. - Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.
- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
- Is anyone among you sick? He should send for the presbyters of the Church so that they may pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. The prayer of faith will save the sick person, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed any sins, he will be forgiven.

except the one who believes
that Jesus is the Son of God? - Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?”
- Above his head was inscribed the charge against him: “This is Jesus, the King of the Jews.”
- God abides in anyone who acknowledges
that Jesus is the Son of God,
and that person abides in God. - There is no salvation in anyone else, nor is there any other name under heaven given to men by which we can be saved.
- Blessed are you when people hate you and ostracize you, when they insult you and denounce your name as evil on account of the Son of Man.
- And every tongue should proclaim
to the glory of God the Father:
Jesus Christ is Lord. - Teach me your ways, O Lord,
so that I may walk in your truth;
let me worship your name
with an undivided heart. - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift freely given by God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- And my God will fully supply all your needs out of the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.
- For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so too do we believe that God will bring forth with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
- Then the God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
- You might say to yourself, “How can we know that the Lord did not speak the message?” If what the prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord is not true and it does not happen, then the message was not proclaimed by the Lord. The prophet has spoken presumptuously, you should not fear him.
- An honorable name is more to be desired than great riches,
and high esteem is preferable to silver and gold. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- From that day forward Jesus began to proclaim the message: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is close at hand.”
- However, the Advocate, the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in my name,
will teach you everything
and remind you of all
that I have said to you.
