- I will never forget your precepts,
for by them you have given me life. - For the righteous will never be moved;

So the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.”

for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you. - Wives, submit to your husbands, as is fitting in the Lord. Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them.
- Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord.
- Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
- For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
- But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind.
- For we all stumble in many ways. And if anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle his whole body.
- The Lord our God be with us, as he was with our fathers. May he not leave us or forsake us.
- What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?
- What then shall we say? That the law is sin? By no means! Yet if it had not been for the law, I would not have known sin. For I would not have known what it is to covet if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
- Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.
- But let justice roll down like waters,
and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. - For nothing will be impossible with God.
- Get wisdom; get insight;
do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth. - I have set the Lord always before me;
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. - The ransom of a man's life is his wealth,
but a poor man hears no threat. - And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
- Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
whose trust is the Lord.
He is like a tree planted by water,
that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes,
for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought,
for it does not cease to bear fruit. - Let not steadfast love and faithfulness forsake you;
bind them around your neck;
write them on the tablet of your heart.
So you will find favor and good success
in the sight of God and man. - The Lord is slow to anger and great in power,
and the Lord will by no means clear the guilty.
His way is in whirlwind and storm,
and the clouds are the dust of his feet. - “For the mountains may depart
and the hills be removed,
but my steadfast love shall not depart from you,
and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,”
says the Lord, who has compassion on you. - Have you not known? Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding is unsearchable.
