| Rather, let justice flow like a river, and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream. | But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream. |
| For nothing will be impossible for God. | For with God nothing shall be impossible. |

| Do not let kindness and fidelity leave you; fasten them around your neck and inscribe them on the tablet of your heart. Then you will gain favor and a good name in the sight of God and man. | Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. |
| Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the eternal God, the Creator of the earth’s farthest boundaries. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding cannot be scrutinized. | Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. |
| While experiencing temptation, no one should say, “God is tempting me.” For God cannot be tempted by evil, and he himself tempts no one. | Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man. |
| Do not be afraid or dismayed, the Lord will go before you; he will not fail or forsake you. | And the Lord, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed. |
| The wicked man borrows but neglects to repay, whereas the righteous man is generous in giving. | The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. |
| Where can I go to hide from your spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I ascend to the heavens, you are there; if I take my rest in the netherworld, you are also there. | Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. |
| The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has been unable to overcome it. | And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. |
| My mouth is filled with your praises as I relate your glory all day long. | Let my mouth be filled with thy praise and with thy honour all the day. |
| I shall forgive them for their wicked deeds, and I shall remember their sins no more. | For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more. |
| Love does not rejoice over wrongdoing but rejoices in the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. | Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. |
| And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate to be with you forever. | And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever. |
| I did not hesitate to tell you what was for your benefit as I proclaimed the word to you and taught you publicly as well as from house to house. | And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house. |
| Indeed, the Lord God does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants, the prophets. | Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. |
| A highway will be there that will be called the Way of Holiness. No one who is unclean may pass over it; it will serve as a path for pilgrims and no fool will be able to use it. | And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. |
| Therefore, we do not lose heart. Even though our outer self is continuing to decay, our inner self is being renewed day by day. | For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. |
| How great you are, Lord God! There is no one like you, and there is no God except you alone, as everything that we have heard confirms. | Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for there is none like thee, neither is there any God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears. |
| Keep falsehood and lying far from me; give me neither poverty nor riches, but simply provide me with the food that I need. | Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me. |
| To the King of the ages, immortal, invisible, the only God, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen. | Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. |
| Therefore, I tell you that every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven. | Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. |
| He made him who did not know sin to be sin for our sake, so that through him we might become the righteousness of God. | For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. |
| For the Lord loves the just, and he will not forsake his faithful ones. Those who follow evil paths will be destroyed, and the children of the wicked will be cut off. | For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. |

| Whatever moves and has life will be used for your food. I give you all these things, just as I have already given you every green plant. Only do not eat flesh along with its life, that is, with its blood. | Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat. |
