Bible Verses about 'No eye has seen no ear has heard'
- For as it is written,
“Eye has not seen, ear has not heard,
nor has the human heart imagined
what God has prepared for those who love him.” - No one has ever seen God.
It is the only Son, God,
who is at the Father’s side,
who has made him known. - No one has ever seen God,
but if we love one another,
God abides in us,
and his love is made complete in us. - I love the Lord because he has heard my voice
and listened to my cry for mercy,
because he has inclined his ear to me
on the day when I called out to him. - If someone says, “I love God,”
but at the same time hates his brother,
he is a liar.
For whoever does not love the brother
whom he has seen
cannot love God whom he has not seen. - And the shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, just as they had been told.
- For our eyes are fixed not on what is seen but rather on that which cannot be seen. What is visible is transitory; what is invisible is eternal.
- Then Jesus said to him,
“You have come to believe
because you have seen me.
Blessed are those who have not seen
and yet have come to believe.” - Why do you take note of the splinter in your brother’s eye but do not notice the wooden plank in your own eye?
- This is the message
that we have heard from him
and that we declare to you:
God is light,
and there is no darkness at all in him. - How great you are, Lord God! There is no one like you, and there is no God except you alone, as everything that we have heard confirms.
- Return and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people: Thus says the Lord, the God of David, your father: I have heard, I have seen your tears. I will heal you today, and the day after tomorrow you will go up to the temple of the Lord.
- Do the things that you have learned, received, and heard from me and that you saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.
- I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
- For from the beginning
you have heard the message
that we should love one another. - If you know me,
then you will know my Father also.
From now on you do know him.
You have seen him. - This is the end of my teaching.
All has been heard.
Fear God and keep his commandments,
for that is the responsibility of everyone. - Let what you heard from the beginning
remain in you.
If what you heard from the beginning
remains in you,
then you will remain in the Son
and in the Father. - In my anguish I cried out;
the Lord heard my plea,
and I was saved from all my troubles. - Faith is the assurance of what we hope for and the conviction about things that cannot be seen.
- You have heard that it was said of old: ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that anyone who looks with lust at a woman has already committed adultery with her in his heart.
- When Jesus heard this, he said, “It is not the healthy who need a physician, but rather those who are sick.”
- I then heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? Who will go for us?” I said, “Here I am. Send me!”
- Therefore, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered behind closed doors will be shouted from the housetops.
- However, the one who looks intently at the perfect law of freedom and perseveres—not forgetting what he has heard but putting it into practice—will be blessed in everything he does.
- When anyone turns a deaf ear to the law,
even his prayer is detestable. - In love there is no fear;
indeed, perfect love casts out fear,
because fear has to do with punishment,
and whoever fears
has not yet achieved perfection in love. - And I heard a loud voice proclaim from the throne:
“Behold, God’s dwelling is with mankind;
he will dwell with them.
They will be his people,
and he will be their God,
God-with-them.
He will wipe every tear from their eyes,
and there will no longer be death.
Neither will there be any mourning or crying or pain,
for the old order has passed away.” - In my anguish I cried out to the Lord
and called to my God for help.
From his temple he heard my voice,
and my cry to him reached his ears. - The Lord has truly been raised, and he has appeared to Simon!
- When you pray do not go on babbling endlessly as the pagans do, for they believe that they are more likely to be heard because of their many words.
- When Jesus heard this, he said, “Do not be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be saved.”
- So then, faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.
- Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the eternal God,
the Creator of the earth’s farthest boundaries.
He does not faint or grow weary;
his understanding cannot be scrutinized. - However, whoever lives by the truth
comes to the light
so that it may be clearly seen
that his deeds have been done in God. - He said to them in reply, “Anyone who has two coats must share with the person who has none, and whoever has food must do likewise.”
- Without any doubt, the mystery of our religion is great:
He was made visible in the flesh,
vindicated by the Spirit,
seen by angels,
proclaimed to the Gentiles,
believed in throughout the world,
taken up in glory. - When you make a vow to God, do not delay in fulfilling it, for God has no pleasure in fools. Fulfill the vow you have made.
- If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. It is preferable for you to lose one part of your body than to have your whole body thrown into Gehenna.
- I will instruct you
and guide you in the way you should go;
I will counsel you
and keep my eyes upon you. - Behold, he is coming with the clouds;
every eye will see him,
even those who pierced him.
All the peoples of the earth will mourn him.
So shall it be. Amen. - But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him,
on those who trust in his kindness. - Arise and shine forth, for your light has come
and the glory of the Lord has dawned upon you. - O Lord, hear my prayer,
incline your ear to my supplications.
In your faithfulness respond to me
with your righteousness. - While he was departing as they gazed upward toward the sky, suddenly two men dressed in white robes stood beside them, and they said, “Men of Galilee, why are you standing there looking up into the sky? This Jesus who has been taken up from you into heaven will come back in the same way as you have seen him going into heaven.”
- Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and in the sea, and all that is in them, saying:
“To the one seated on the throne
and to the Lamb
be blessing and honor and glory and might
forever and ever.” - Although you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with a joy that is indescribable and glorious. For you are achieving the goal of your faith, that is, the salvation of your souls.
- He has made everything suitable for its time, and he has given men a sense of past and future, but they never have the slightest comprehension of what God has wrought from beginning to end.
- I give them eternal life,
and they will never perish.
No one will ever snatch them from my hand.
My Father who has given them to me
is greater than all,
and no one can snatch them
out of the Father’s hand.
I and the Father are one. - No one can have greater love
than to lay down his life for his friends.
