Bible Verses about 'Not doing things for self'

for Yahweh’s mouth has spoken it. - Every man who strives in the games exercises self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible.
- Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do.

- Abba, Father, all things are possible to you. Please remove this cup from me. However, not what I desire, but what you desire.
- We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.
- Sing to Yahweh, for he has done excellent things! Let this be known in all the earth!
- But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom and continues, not being a hearer who forgets but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.
- All things were made through him. Without him, nothing was made that has been made.
- Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don’t know.
