Chinese (traditional)- Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows.
- Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
- Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.”
- I do not pray that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil one.
- Now a mediator does not mediate for one only, but God is one.
- While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
- But he said to them, “Do not be alarmed. You seek Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid Him.”
- The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise. - Not that I speak in regard to need, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content.
- “Can anyone hide himself in secret places,
So I shall not see him?” says the Lord;
“Do I not fill heaven and earth?” says the Lord. - And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world.
- For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
- If someone says, “I love God,” and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
- We who are Jews by nature, and not sinners of the Gentiles, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.
- And the Lord God said, “It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to him.”
- Receive one who is weak in the faith, but not to disputes over doubtful things.
- Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.
- Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
- Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
- Excellent speech is not becoming to a fool,
Much less lying lips to a prince. - Do not turn to the right or the left;
Remove your foot from evil. - Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident. - Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.
- Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
- He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.
Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him.
