- Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed;
save me, and I shall be saved;
for you are my praise. - So we have known and believe the love that God has for us.
God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them. - Deliver me, O Lord,
from lying lips,
from a deceitful tongue. - For who is God except the Lord?
And who is a rock besides our God? - O Lord, you are my God;
I will exalt you, I will praise your name;
for you have done wonderful things,
plans formed of old, faithful and sure. - For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
- For who is God, but the Lord?
And who is a rock, except our God? - Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.
- When I thought, “My foot is slipping,”
your steadfast love, O Lord, held me up. - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us,
even as we hope in you. - O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways!
- I love you, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer,
my God, my rock in whom I take refuge,
my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us,
and prosper for us the work of our hands—
O prosper the work of our hands! - But you, O Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. - Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name. - Even before a word is on my tongue,
O Lord, you know it completely. - Out of the depths I cry to you, O Lord.
Lord, hear my voice!
Let your ears be attentive
to the voice of my supplications! - For nothing will be impossible with God.
- But you, O Lord, reign forever;
your throne endures to all generations. - And steadfast love belongs to you, O Lord.
For you repay to all
according to their work. - For God alone my soul waits in silence,
for my hope is from him. - But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even look up to heaven, but was beating his breast and saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’
- In God, whose word I praise,
in God I trust; I am not afraid;
what can flesh do to me? - For there is one God; there is also one mediator between God and humankind, Christ Jesus, himself human.
On God rests my deliverance and my honor;
my mighty rock, my refuge is in God.But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without a trace of partiality or hypocrisy. For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever. Amen.Next verse!With image
