And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
That I may come unto you with joy by the will of God, and may with you be refreshed.That I may come to you with joy by the will of God, and may be refreshed together with you.
For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.
Therefore thou shalt keep the commandments of the Lord thy God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the Lord your God, to walk in His ways and to fear Him.
And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.
For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart.
I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.I made haste, and did not delay To keep Your commandments.
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.Who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
I am the Lord your God; walk in my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; And hallow my sabbaths; and they shall be a sign between me and you, that ye may know that I am the Lord your God.I am the Lord your God: Walk in My statutes, keep My judgments, and do them; hallow My Sabbaths, and they will be a sign between Me and you, that you may know that I am the Lord your God.
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way.
Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am the Lord.Therefore you shall keep My commandments, and perform them: I am the Lord.
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.
But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does.
Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine.Now therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.
Turn ye unto me, saith the Lord of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the Lord of hosts.“Return to Me,” says the Lord of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts.
Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; and the years of thy life shall be many.Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, And the years of your life will be many.
Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons: But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.”
Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.Therefore, brethren, be even more diligent to make your call and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble; for so an entrance will be supplied to you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.
If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments, and perform them, then I will give you rain in its season, the land shall yield its produce, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.
Ye shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, and his testimonies, and his statutes, which he hath commanded thee.You shall diligently keep the commandments of the Lord your God, His testimonies, and His statutes which He has commanded you.
Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.Get wisdom! Get understanding! Do not forget, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.

But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.
