- And, behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth: and ye know in all your hearts and in all your souls, that not one thing hath failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spake concerning you; all are come to pass unto you, and not one thing hath failed thereof.
- There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
- And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you.
- Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
- And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh? Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder.
- Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. - No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
- For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
- Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus.
- Let every one of us please his neighbour for his good to edification.
- Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
- I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
- Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
- We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth.
- But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil.
- But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me;
my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. - Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
- Unto you first God, having raised up his Son Jesus, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from his iniquities.
- I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
- See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
- He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty;
and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. - Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:
and the knowledge of the holy is understanding. - But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.
- Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
One thing have I desired of the Lord,
that will I seek after;
that I may dwell in the house of the Lord
all the days of my life,
to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to enquire in his temple.Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
