  • No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.
  • And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved.

  • You shall not make other gods besides Me; gods of silver or gods of gold, you shall not make for yourselves.

  • Realizing the fact that law is not made for a righteous person but for those who are lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and worldly, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for the sexually immoral, homosexuals, slave traders, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound teaching, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted.
  • When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. And when Paul had laid hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them and they began speaking with tongues and prophesying.
  • Now about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.

  • Now it shall be, if you diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I am commanding you today, that the Lord your God will put you high above all the nations of the earth.

    I, the Lord, search the heart,
    I test the mind,
    To give to each person according to his ways,
    According to the results of his deeds.
  • I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another; just as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
