Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

He will render to each one according to his works.Who will render to every man according to his deeds.
Then I saw that all toil and all skill in work come from a man's envy of his neighbor. This also is vanity and a striving after wind.Again, I considered all travail, and every right work, that for this a man is envied of his neighbour. This is also vanity and vexation of spirit.
But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him?But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there will my servant be also. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.
And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your hand. Only against him do not stretch out your hand.” So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.
If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.

The vexation of a fool is known at once, but the prudent ignores an insult.A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.
