- Who is this King of glory?
The Lord of armies,
He is the King of glory. Selah - For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under the Law but under grace.
- Now when all the people were baptized, Jesus also was baptized, and while He was praying, heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came from heaven: “You are My beloved Son, in You I am well pleased.”
- For from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.
- The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise the wife also to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; and likewise the husband also does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
- And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- Every person is to be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
- But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God.”
- But now having been freed from sin and enslaved to God, you derive your benefit, resulting in sanctification, and the outcome, eternal life.
- The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. - Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
- That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him.
- In the exercise of His will He gave us birth by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.
- For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons and daughters of God.
- There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you, judging your neighbor?
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.
- But the Scripture has confined everyone under sin, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.
- The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver,
The heart of the wicked is worth little. - “I love You, Lord, my strength.”
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my savior,
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking forward to the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.
- Guarding the paths of justice,
And He watches over the way of His godly ones. - Now the birth of Jesus the Messiah was as follows: when His mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be pregnant by the Holy Spirit.
- Being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- Peter said to them, “Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”
- For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection, knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin.
