- I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.

- Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.
- The instructions of the Lord are perfect,
reviving the soul.
The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy,
making wise the simple. - And may the Lord our God show us his approval
and make our efforts successful.
Yes, make our efforts successful! - And he took a cup of wine and gave thanks to God for it. He gave it to them and said, “Each of you drink from it, for this is my blood, which confirms the covenant between God and his people. It is poured out as a sacrifice to forgive the sins of many.”
- So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.
- I live because of the living Father who sent me; in the same way, anyone who feeds on me will live because of me.
- He loves whatever is just and good;
the unfailing love of the Lord fills the earth. - Joyful are people of integrity,
who follow the instructions of the Lord. - I am the Lord, the God of all the peoples of the world. Is anything too hard for me?
