- For unto us a child is born,
unto us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called
Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God,
The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. - Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.
- Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
- And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
- And the God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.
- Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil:
but to the counsellors of peace is joy. - Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
- Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
- Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied.
- Excellent speech becometh not a fool:
much less do lying lips a prince. - Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
- Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace, and pursue it. - Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
- Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
- Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace, good will toward men. - And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.
- Great peace have they which love thy law:
and nothing shall offend them. - Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
whose mind is stayed on thee:
because he trusteth in thee. - For the mountains shall depart,
and the hills be removed;
but my kindness shall not depart from thee,
neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed,
saith the Lord that hath mercy on thee. - The Lord will give strength unto his people;
the Lord will bless his people with peace. - I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
- For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
- Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.
Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
