- Better the little that the righteous have
than the wealth of many wicked;
for the power of the wicked will be broken,
but the Lord upholds the righteous. - For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.
- Rend your heart
and not your garments.
Return to the Lord your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love,
and he relents from sending calamity. - Let the wicked forsake their ways

because they have a good return for their labor. - Honor the Lord with your wealth,
with the firstfruits of all your crops. - Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’
- I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing the praises of your name, O Most High. - For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.
- If anyone turns a deaf ear to my instruction,
even their prayers are detestable. - Then you will understand what is right and just
and fair—every good path. - I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonderful deeds. - Rejoice greatly, Daughter Zion!

lowly and riding on a donkey,
on a colt, the foal of a donkey. - In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side.
