- The Lord makes poor and rich;
He humbles, He also exalts. - The rich rules over the poor,
And the borrower becomes the lender’s slave. - A rich person’s wealth is his strong city,
And like a high wall in his own imagination. - It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich,
And He adds no sorrow to it. - Now the brother or sister of humble circumstances is to glory in his high position; but the rich person is to glory in his humiliation, because like flowering grass he will pass away.
- But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap, and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge people into ruin and destruction.
- As sorrowful yet always rejoicing, as poor yet making many rich, as having nothing and yet possessing all things.
- Do not weary yourself to gain wealth;
Stop dwelling on it. - But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our wrongdoings, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved).
- Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to set their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy.

But the Lord directs his steps. - Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God.

And my sighing is not hidden from You. - Love must be free of hypocrisy. Detest what is evil; cling to what is good.
- How can a young man keep his way pure?
By keeping it according to Your word. - In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our wrongdoings, according to the riches of His grace.
- For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth.
- Open your mouth, judge righteously,
And defend the rights of the poor and needy. - For He has satisfied the thirsty soul,
And He has filled the hungry soul with what is good. - Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor.
- Honor the Lord from your wealth,
And from the first of all your produce. - For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, God’s building.
- Then he said to them, “Go, eat the festival foods, drink the sweet drinks, and send portions to him who has nothing prepared; for this day is holy to our Lord. Do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your refuge.”
- I will rejoice and be jubilant in You;
I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. - But Jesus said to him, “ ‘If You can’? All things are possible for the one who believes.”
- And heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’

And integrity, and every good path. - One who turns his ear away from listening to the Law,
Even his prayer is an abomination. - I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart;
I will tell of all Your wonders. - Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- But whoever has worldly goods and sees his brother or sister in need, and closes his heart against him, how does the love of God remain in him?
- One who walks in integrity walks securely,
But one who perverts his ways will be found out. - To whom God willed to make known what the wealth of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles is, the mystery that is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Behold, your king is coming to you;

- Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary.

Than the abundance of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked will be broken,
But the Lord sustains the righteous.
