- Learn to do good;
seek justice,
correct oppression;
bring justice to the fatherless,
plead the widow's cause. - And it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to do all this commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us.
- Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted.

- Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

- For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.
- For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
- For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.
- There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?
- For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
