Chinese (traditional)- Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus.
- I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
- Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
- For for this cause pay ye tribute also: for they are God's ministers, attending continually upon this very thing.
- Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
- I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
- For in many things we offend all. If any man offend not in word, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body.
- And the same John had his raiment of camel's hair, and a leathern girdle about his loins; and his meat was locusts and wild honey.
- For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.
- And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.
- I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
- So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul:
when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward,
and thy expectation shall not be cut off. - A fool's wrath is presently known:
but a prudent man covereth shame. - Go, gather together all the Jews that are present in Shushan, and fast ye for me, and neither eat nor drink three days, night or day: I also and my maidens will fast likewise; and so will I go in unto the king, which is not according to the law: and if I perish, I perish.
- For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
- He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
- And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.
- He answereth and saith unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath meat, let him do likewise.
- Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.
- Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.
- Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
- For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
- This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
- If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?
And even to your old age I am he;
and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:
I have made, and I will bear;
even I will carry, and will deliver you.Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?Next verse!With image
