Chinese (traditional)- I fell to the ground and heard a voice saying to me, ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’
- In that wonderful day you will sing:
“Thank the Lord! Praise his name!
Tell the nations what he has done.
Let them know how mighty he is!” - As soon as they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. Then when Paul laid his hands on them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in other tongues and prophesied.
- I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart;
I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. - After this prayer, the meeting place shook, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit. Then they preached the word of God with boldness.
- You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you.
- Rumors are dainty morsels
that sink deep into one’s heart. - Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to this people? Who will go for us?”
I said, “Here I am. Send me.” - But I say, do not make any vows! Do not say, ‘By heaven!’ because heaven is God’s throne. And do not say, ‘By the earth!’ because the earth is his footstool. And do not say, ‘By Jerusalem!’ for Jerusalem is the city of the great King.
But the angel reassured them. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I bring you good news that will bring great joy to all people.” I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.Next verse!With image
