- He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has been sinning from the beginning. To this end the Son of God was revealed: that he might destroy the works of the devil.

the labor of the olive fails,

the flocks are cut off from the fold,
and there is no herd in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in Yahweh.
I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! - Yours, Yahweh, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty! For all that is in the heavens and in the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, Yahweh, and you are exalted as head above all.
- The way of Yahweh is a stronghold to the upright,
but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with all the saints. Amen.
- But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won’t fulfill the lust of the flesh.
- What was sown among the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.
- For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace.

they who build it labor in vain.
Unless Yahweh watches over the city,
the watchman guards it in vain. - The angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. Therefore also the holy one who is born from you will be called the Son of God.”
- God said, “Let’s make man in our image, after our likeness. Let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the livestock, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
- Learn to do well.
Seek justice.
Relieve the oppressed.
Defend the fatherless.
Plead for the widow. - Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects.
Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. - The integrity of the upright shall guide them,
but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them. - You who love Yahweh, hate evil!
He preserves the souls of his saints.
He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. - He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God.
- The multitudes who went in front of him, and those who followed, kept shouting, “Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!”
