- The name of the righteous is used in blessings,
but the name of the wicked will rot. - In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
- The prospect of the righteous is joy,
but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing. - And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

but the heart of the wicked is of little value. - I remain confident of this:
I will see the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living. - May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
