- For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.

what God has prepared for those who love him” - “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” For it is not the one who commends himself who is approved, but the one whom the Lord commends.
- Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed; for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.
- For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”
- For “Whoever desires to love life
and see good days,
let him keep his tongue from evil
and his lips from speaking deceit;
let him turn away from evil and do good;
let him seek peace and pursue it.” - Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
- He answered, “Have you not read that he who created them from the beginning made them male and female, and said, ‘Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man separate.”
- This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

and the borrower is the slave of the lender. - One Sabbath he was going through the grainfields, and as they made their way, his disciples began to pluck heads of grain. So the Son of Man is lord even of the Sabbath.”

reviving the soul;
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple. - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

but the way of the wicked he brings to ruin. - The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom,
and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight. - The memory of the righteous is a blessing,
but the name of the wicked will rot. - In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
- The hope of the righteous brings joy,
but the expectation of the wicked will perish. - And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.
- No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also.
- And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
- Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
- By the word of the Lord the heavens were made,
and by the breath of his mouth all their host. - The tongue of the righteous is choice silver;
the heart of the wicked is of little worth. - I believe that I shall look upon the goodness of the Lord
in the land of the living! - Blessings are on the head of the righteous,
but the mouth of the wicked conceals violence. - The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
- The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law.
- “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
- Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior.
- Better is the little that the righteous has
than the abundance of many wicked.
For the arms of the wicked shall be broken,
but the Lord upholds the righteous. - The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
- The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable,
but the mouth of the wicked, what is perverse. - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
- I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
