Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot. | Knowing that you were not redeemed with perishable things like silver or gold from your futile way of life inherited from your forefathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb unblemished and spotless, the blood of Christ. |
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief. | Therefore let’s make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same example of disobedience. |
