Them (3/4)

  • Give to everyone who asks of you. And from him who takes away your goods do not ask them back.
  • But Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.”
  • But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
  • Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
  • Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.
Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.
  • Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.”
  • You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
  • The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
And delivers them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,
And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
  • He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
  • And when they saw Him walking on the sea, they supposed it was a ghost, and cried out; for they all saw Him and were troubled. But immediately He talked with them and said to them, “Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid.”
  • The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
  • Now I urge you, brethren, note those who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and avoid them.
  • Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.
  • As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”
  • Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.
  • I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.
  • Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which have neither storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them. Of how much more value are you than the birds?
  • He answered and said to them, “He who has two tunics, let him give to him who has none; and he who has food, let him do likewise.”
  • Therefore say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “None of My words will be postponed any more, but the word which I speak will be done,” says the Lord God.’
  • Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.
  • Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?
  • And He answered and said to them, “Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning ‘made them male and female,’ and said, ‘For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh’? So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate.”
  • Then the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told them.
  • And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”
  • And He sat down, called the twelve, and said to them, “If anyone desires to be first, he shall be last of all and servant of all.”

That is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.
