What shall we say then? Is the law sin? May it never be! However, I wouldn’t have known sin except through the law. For I wouldn’t have known coveting unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.” Romans 7:7	What then should we say? That the Law is sinful? Absolutely not! Yet if it had not been for the Law, I would not have known what sin was. I would not have known what covet is if the Law had not said, “You shall not covet.” sin law desires

Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own possession from among all peoples; for all the earth is mine. So then, as we have opportunity, let’s do what is good toward all men, and especially toward those who are of the household of the faith. So faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17	So then, faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ. faith evangelism listening
Those who are in the flesh can’t please God. Romans 8:8	Those who live according to the flesh can never be pleasing to God. sin dependence desires
So you shall know wisdom to be to your soul. If you have found it, then there will be a reward: Your hope will not be cut off. Proverbs 24:14	In much the same manner will wisdom be sweet to your soul. If you find it, you will have a future, and your hope will not be cut off. wisdom seeking hope
