When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their evil way, then God relented of the disaster which He had declared He would bring on them. If only they had such a heart in them, to fear Me and keep all My commandments always, so that it would go well with them and with their sons forever! | O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever! |
The words of a gossiper are like dainty morsels, And they go down into the innermost parts of the body. | The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. |
