Rejoice with those who rejoice; weep with those who weep. | Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. |
But to those of you who are listening to me, I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. | But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. |

But the eyes of the Lord are on those who fear him, on those who trust in his kindness. | Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy. |
Those who revere your name place their trust in you, for you never abandon those who seek you, O Lord. | And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. |
Deceit is in the heart of those who plot evil, but those who counsel peace have joy. | Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellors of peace is joy. |
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. | Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted. |
Those who live according to the flesh can never be pleasing to God. | So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. |
Bless those who persecute you; bless them and do not curse them. | Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. |
But from everlasting to everlasting the kindness of the Lord is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children’s children, with those who keep his covenant and diligently observe his commandments. | But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them. |
But I say to you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. | But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. |
How great is your goodness, O Lord, which you have stored up for those who fear you and which you bestow on those who take refuge in you, in the presence of all the people. | Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee; which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men! |
Those who love your law have great peace; they encounter no stumbling blocks. | Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them. |
Blessed are those who observe his statutes and seek him with their whole heart. | Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart. |
Those who live according to the flesh fix their attention on the things of the flesh, while those who live according to the Spirit set their thoughts on spiritual things. | For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. |
And opens the eyes of those who cannot see. The Lord lifts up those who are bowed down; the Lord loves the righteous. | The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind: the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down: the Lord loveth the righteous. |
God is Spirit, and those who worship him must worship in Spirit and truth. | God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. |
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will have their fill. | Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. |
When Jesus heard this, he said, “It is not the healthy who need a physician, but rather those who are sick.” | But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. |
And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who are peacemakers. | And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. |
Jesus replied, “Blessed, rather, are those who hear the word of God and obey it!” | But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it. |
And whoever does not provide for relatives, especially for those who are living with him, has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever. | But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel. |
I was eager to respond to those who did not consult me. I was anxious to be approached by those who did not seek me. I said, “Here I am! Here I am!” to a nation that did not summon me. | I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name. |
The tongue has the power over life and death; those who cherish it will enjoy its fruits. | Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. |
He reserves his wisdom for the upright and is a shield to those who lead blameless lives. | He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. |
The powerful suffer want and go hungry, but those who seek the Lord want for no good thing. | The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing. |
