- Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
- As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. - Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
- But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - But the mercy of the Lord is
from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,
and his righteousness unto children's children;
To such as keep his covenant,
and to those that remember his commandments to do them. - But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
- God setteth the solitary in families:
he bringeth out those which are bound with chains:
but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. - And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
- Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
- So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
- Blessed are they that mourn:
for they shall be comforted. - Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
- Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil:
but to the counsellors of peace is joy. - Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
- But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
- And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
- Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
- And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
- And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
- But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
- Oh how great is thy goodness,
which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee;
which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee
before the sons of men! - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
- Great peace have they which love thy law:
and nothing shall offend them. - For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.
- Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
- As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
- Blessed are they that keep his testimonies,
and that seek him with the whole heart. - For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
- Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness:
for they shall be filled. - But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.
- I am sought of them that asked not for me;
I am found of them that sought me not:
I said, Behold me, behold me,
unto a nation that was not called by my name. - Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - The Lord openeth the eyes of the blind:
the Lord raiseth them that are bowed down:
the Lord loveth the righteous. - God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
- The Lord is good,
a strong hold in the day of trouble;
and he knoweth them that trust in him. - Death and life are in the power of the tongue:
and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. - He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous:
he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly. - Like as a father pitieth his children,
so the Lord pitieth them that fear him. - And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.
- For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
- Withhold not good from them to whom it is due,
when it is in the power of thine hand to do it. - And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same.
- Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake:
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. - And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
- To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life.
- Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
- Lying lips are abomination to the Lord:
but they that deal truly are his delight. - Blessed are the undefiled in the way,
who walk in the law of the Lord.
Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him.Next verse!With image
