- As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. - Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
- But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
- God setteth the solitary in families:
he bringeth out those which are bound with chains:
but the rebellious dwell in a dry land. - Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep.
- Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
- But the mercy of the Lord is
from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him,
and his righteousness unto children's children;
To such as keep his covenant,
and to those that remember his commandments to do them. - Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven, all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride he is able to abase.
- Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
- And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
- And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
- But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.
- Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him,
upon them that hope in his mercy. - Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
- As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
- And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.
- Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
- And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee:
for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. - So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
- For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
- Blessed are they that mourn:
for they shall be comforted. - Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil:
but to the counsellors of peace is joy. - Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
- But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you.
- Oh how great is thy goodness,
which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee;
which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee
before the sons of men!
Great peace have they which love thy law:
and nothing shall offend them.He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.Next verse!With image
