Through (2/4)

  • All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.
  • You have been born anew, not of perishable but of imperishable seed, through the living and enduring word of God.
  • For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God— not the result of works, so that no one may boast.
  • Consequently he is able for all time to save those who approach God through him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
  • His divine power has given us everything needed for life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness.
  • For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision counts for anything; the only thing that counts is faith working through love.
  • For in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith. As many of you as were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
  • So faith comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through the word of Christ.
  • Let it be known to you therefore, my brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is proclaimed to you; by this Jesus everyone who believes is set free from all those sins from which you could not be freed by the law of Moses.
  • These things God has revealed to us through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God.
  • For if while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more surely, having been reconciled, will we be saved by his life.
  • For this purpose he called you through our proclamation of the good news, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • How much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to worship the living God!
  • And hope does not disappoint us, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit that has been given to us.
  • For “no human being will be justified in his sight” by deeds prescribed by the law, for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
  • For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, so that by steadfastness and by the encouragement of the scriptures we might have hope.
  • Now may the God of peace, who brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, make you complete in everything good so that you may do his will, working among us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
  • With their mouths the godless would destroy their neighbors,
but by knowledge the righteous are delivered.
  • He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we had done, but according to his mercy, through the water of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.
  • Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By his great mercy he has given us a new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
  • For just as by the one man's disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous.
  • For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters; only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for self-indulgence, but through love become slaves to one another.
  • And baptism, which this prefigured, now saves you—not as a removal of dirt from the body, but as an appeal to God for a good conscience, through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
  • Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
  • All this took place to fulfill what had been spoken by the Lord through the prophet:
“Look, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son,
and they shall name him Emmanuel,”
which means, “God is with us.”

If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit that dwells in you.
