To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.To do righteousness and justice Is preferred by the Lord more than sacrifice.
And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.And if he refuses to listen to them, tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, he is to be to you as a Gentile and a tax collector.
He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.He gives strength to the weary, And to the one who lacks might He increases power.
It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy, and after vows to make enquiry.It is a trap for a person to say carelessly, “It is holy!” And after the vows to make inquiry.
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?He has told you, mortal one, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?
Every man also to whom God hath given riches and wealth, and hath given him power to eat thereof, and to take his portion, and to rejoice in his labour; this is the gift of God.Furthermore, as for every person to whom God has given riches and wealth, He has also given him the opportunity to enjoy them and to receive his reward and rejoice in his labor; this is the gift of God.
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence, in your faith supply moral excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge, and in your knowledge, self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in your perseverance, godliness, and in your godliness, brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love.
Withhold not good from them to whom it is due, when it is in the power of thine hand to do it.Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, When it is in your power to do it.
For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.For from Him, and through Him, and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever. Amen.
Also unto thee, O Lord, belongeth mercy: for thou renderest to every man according to his work.And faithfulness is Yours, Lord, For You reward a person according to his work.
But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good in order to bring about this present result, to keep many people alive.
The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.The Lord is near to all who call on Him, To all who call on Him in truth.
The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.Then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from a trial, and to keep the unrighteous under punishment for the day of judgment.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?Is this not the fast that I choose: To release the bonds of wickedness, To undo the ropes of the yoke, And to let the oppressed go free, And break every yoke?
Labour not to be rich: cease from thine own wisdom.Do not weary yourself to gain wealth; Stop dwelling on it.
But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children; To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting for those who fear Him, And His justice to the children’s children, To those who keep His covenant And remember His precepts, so as to do them.
I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.I will not leave you as orphans; I am coming to you.
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a worker who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.
From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.From that time Jesus began to preach and say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.
For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?For which one of you, when he wants to build a tower, does not first sit down and calculate the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it?
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.Come close to God and He will come close to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came so that they would have life, and have it abundantly.
For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.For to you it has been granted for Christ’s sake, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer on His behalf.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.For the mind set on the flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace.
