- In that way, I can come to you in joy, if God so wills, and be refreshed together with you.
- Blessed are the pure of heart, for they will see God.
- Be joyful in your hope. Be patient in times of affliction. Persevere in prayer.
- Keep in mind, therefore, that the Lord, your God, is God. He is a faithful God who keeps his covenant of mercy to the thousandth generation toward those who love him and observe his commandments.

Rejoice in the presence of this God

The Father of orphans and the defender of widows:
such is God in his holy dwelling place. - For nothing will be impossible for God.
- Therefore, observe the commandments of the Lord, your God. Walk in his ways and fear him.
- Those who live according to the flesh can never be pleasing to God.
- We also know

and given us understanding
so that we can know the one who is true.
And we are in the one who is true,

He is the true God and eternal life. - Moreover, the one to whom God grants wealth and possessions and the ability to enjoy them and to find contentment in his toil receives a gift from God.
- Blessed be the God,
and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who has blessed us in Christ
with every spiritual blessing in the heavens. - Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And yet not one of them is forgotten in God’s sight. Even the hairs on your head have all been counted. Do not be afraid. You are worth far more than any number of sparrows.
- For there is one God,
and there is one mediator between God and man,
Christ Jesus, himself a man. - In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing among the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
- Rejoice always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.

- But he is to ask with faith, without doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed about by the wind.
- What then can we say in response to all this? If God is for us, who can be against us?
- They exchanged the truth of God for a lie and offered worship and service to the creature rather than to the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. That is why God abandoned them to their shameful passions. Their women exchanged natural intercourse for unnatural practices. Likewise, men gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another. Men committed shameful acts with men and received in their own persons the fitting penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since these people did not see fit to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their depraved way of thinking and to all types of vile behavior.
- I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Repent and live!
