- In God is my salvation and my glory;
The rock of my strength,
And my refuge, is in God. - Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God. - But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.
- The fear of man brings a snare,
But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe. - Truly my soul silently waits for God;
From Him comes my salvation. - Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit. - He who heeds the word wisely will find good,
And whoever trusts in the Lord, happy is he. - Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
- My soul, wait silently for God alone,
For my expectation is from Him. - Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy. - Knowing this: that the law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and for sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine, according to the glorious gospel of the blessed God which was committed to my trust.

- Do not overwork to be rich;
Because of your own understanding, cease! - The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing. - Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith. - Therefore I will look to the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation;
My God will hear me. - Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
- In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
- He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler. - But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint. - For the word of the Lord is right,
And all His work is done in truth. - Though an army may encamp against me,
My heart shall not fear;
Though war may rise against me,
In this I will be confident. - No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God abides in us, and His love has been perfected in us.
